Klaipėda Regional State Archives Telšiai branch, headed by Ms. Alma Jankauskienė, documented the Telšiai Jewish cemetery in 2018. The identified tombstones and their fragments were published in a book „The Telšiai Jewish Cemetery – Memory against Oblivion“. The legible epitaphs  were translated only in Lithuanian language.

In 2019 all inscriptions were transcribed and translated in English by Lara Lempert, the head of the Judaica Center at the National Library of Lithuania.

Work is being partially funded by the NGO Good Will Foundation.

 Klaipėdos regioninio archyvo Telšių padalinys vadovaujamas Almos Jankauskienės dokumentavo Telšių žydų kapines 2018 m. Identifikuoti anktapiai ir jų fragmentai buvo publikuoti leidinyje "Telšių žydų kapinės - atmintis prieš užmarštį". 

2019 m. visi įrašai tranksribuoti ir iversti į anglų kalbą Laros Lempertienės.
